Lloyd Landreth began his environmental career as a fisheries
biologist in the central and northwestern United States.
During his tenure with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in
Washington, Lloyd had the opportunity to observe how the law
and fisheries science merged through the landmark Boldt
decision. With an interim stint as an air quality regulator,
Lloyd transitioned from the natural and environmental
science field to the practice of law by attending the
University of Colorado School of Law. Since graduating from
law school in 1986, Lloyd has been fortunate to work in a
variety of public and private sector positions and associate
with some of the preeminent law firms and environmental
lawyers in the nation.
Lloyd’s legal career led him to the regional law firm of
Gardere Wynne Sewell, where he worked as a Partner until the
summer of 2002, when a change in firm practice group
emphasis led to the closing of Gardere’s Tulsa office. With
a group of supportive and outstanding clients and staff,
Lloyd made the decision to manage his own law practice, and
founded the Landreth Law Firm in September of 2002.
