and environmental science fields, and a legal career
which includes representation of public and private
entities,
Lloyd Landreth has practiced exclusively in the
environmental regulatory and litigation area since
1986.
Clients
& Matters
Mr. Landreth’s work history includes representation
of domestic airlines, airline fuel consortiums, oil
and gas exploration, production and transportation
companies (including petrochemical subsidiaries),
electric and gas utilities, and a variety of
industrial clients. Mr. Landreth also worked as a consulting attorney to EPA and
the U.S. Department of Justice on numerous cost
referral and cost recovery actions.
Mr.
Landreth has extensive experience with environmental
actions brought under federal statutory schemes such
as CERCLA, RCRA, CAA, CWA and state equivalents
thereto, as well as common law claims.
Mr. Landreth has been involved in defending
clients against regulatory agency and private party
claims and in pursuing cost recovery actions on behalf
of private parties and government agencies.
Mr. Landreth has worked extensively with
environmental consulting firms on the technical and
legal aspects of environmental claims associated with
a variety of affected media (air, soils, surface and
groundwater) including alternatives associated with
risk-based cleanup requirements.

fueling systems at airports

of environmental disputes involving groundwater

Mr.
Landreth also has extensive experience in negotiating
cleanup actions with federal, state and local
regulatory agencies and appears in both federal and
state courts of various jurisdictions on environmental
litigation matters.
