The lawyers and paralegals of the Landreth Law Firm each have unique legal and technical/educational backgrounds that allow the firm to provide legal services on any type of environmental, natural resource and occupational health and safety issue.  From representation of a small foundry in Illinois on industrial waste management practices to representation of international airlines on air emissions issues at one of the largest U.S. airports, there is a substantial breadth of expertise available to clients of the firm.

The Landreth Law Firm focuses its practice on two primary areas of law: the transactional, administrative, litigation, and common counsel representation of environmental and natural resource law;  and counseling on OSHA compliance and defense of OSHA claims. Our experience in working with environmental consultants on development of allocation approaches and settlement of large, complex environmental disputes has been of special benefit to our clients.  We accept Federal and State court litigation matters focused on environmental and natural resource and OSHA law discovery, motion and trial practice through association with trial counsel.  We have a broad range of experience in working with clients on strategic business objectives that involve counseling on the proactive compliance with laws and regulations at the local, state and federal level.

We are frequently requested by clients to work closely with some of the finest environmental and occupational health and safety consulting firms in the U.S.   Our familiarity in working with in-house and outside technical experts often results in a more efficient resolution to a dispute than the client may have experienced previously.  Another type of relationship we often engage in is working with the existing outside counsel of a client. The Firm is either contacted and retained directly by the client to supplement the expertise of their existing outside counsel, or we are brought into a matter based on the recommendation from existing outside counsel to their client. Our goal is to form a team consisting of the in-house legal and technical expertise supported by the Landreth Law Firm and any outside environmental consultants and legal counsel retained by the client.

We are a small law firm by choice, having worked in a variety of public and private sector technical and legal careers prior to establishing the Landreth Law Firm.  However, we enjoy our many relationships with outstanding law firms and technical consulting firms that maintain offices nationwide.
